| Ainda não vi nada aqui no fórum sobre isto, por isso vou arriscar abrir um tópico...
A Simone Simons dos Epica participa no álbum "Equilibrio" dos Xystus, o qual conta também com a participação da orquestra holandesa US Concert e mais três cantores. Trata-se de uma rock ópera muito bem elaborada que estará disponível em DVD e CD.
| Citação: | In july 2008 four musical forms (rock/ metal classical and musical) will join together when the rock opera Equilibrio has its premiers in the Netherlands. Involved in this project are 80 musicians from the oldest Dutch symphony orchestra, the USConcert, the progressive metal band Xystus, a 30-man choir from the Dutch Musical Ensemble and five leading soloists from the musical and rock world.
“Through music she is able to create. She is the entity, Alpha & Omega, creator of Good and Evil, The Lady Sophia. In These two opposites will exist in harmony together.
Equilibrio is an epic story that focuses on the journey taken in the search for balance - a journey that takes as long as it does to live a human life. As a personification of each one of us, Diegu the Traveller undertakes this journey in search of balance during the course of the opera.
After the tragic death of Aveline, the Good, the whole world becomes unbalanced. Primos, the Evil one is furious with the Entity and becomes torn apart by anger and sadness.
The travellere is aware that he is more than just a human being burdened by the Entity’s task.
After this, various cultures and societies occur. During the war that then occurs between Primos and the reincarnation of Aveline, Diegu chooses to take sides with Aveline. Due to an unfortunate combination of events, he thinks it is his duty to kill Primos. Convinced that his task is fulfilled, Diegu then closes Act one.
In the second Act, it becomes clear that the balance has not yet been restored, the task is not complete and the balance still has to be found.” |

| Por acaso hj tambe'm tive a ler sobre o assunto e ia abrir um topico a falar disso pq realmente ainda nao tinha visto nada sobre o assunto aqui no forum.
O rapazinho (macaquinha, va') da esquerda tambe'm tem participaçoes com os Wt. Ele entra no DVD do The Silent Force Tour a interpretar o The Other Half Of Me com a Sharon.

Eu dou-lhe 8.5 só para ser do contra 
O álbum não tem arranjos de orquestra tão bons como os que os Nightwish e os Epica conseguiram nos últimos albuns, mas são muito competentes. O género tende mais para o progressivo do que para o power metal, notando-se várias influências dos projectos Ayreon e Avantasia. E tal como o EmoOo23 afirmou: "a nossa Simonezinha esta' muito bem".
